Hello! Today is Sunday, so a very low key day  for us. After Breakfast, we encouraged each other regarding the special gifts they each bring to our team and our clinics. It is interesting to realize how God pulled us all together for this teamwork. We come from different walks of life, different states, vast array of ages and experiences, yet we all have been working together so well with the same goal. He is mighty!

We reorganized the glasses boxes to get ready for the next clinic tomorrow and then everyone just relaxed and took it easy, and enjoyed each other’s company.

Church services are usually in the evening here and after supper we went to the church service at the church we had an eyeglass clinic at on Saturday, which is our host Eliu’s family church.  It was a very nice service. Some songs were sung in English, some in Spanish. Our hosts wife interpreted throughout the service. To begin, the speaker spoke English, she did it in Spanish. Then the sermon delivered from the Pastor was in Spanish, she in English. That looked like a very difficult job for her and was amazing to see! Charli asked her after the service about her Bible, it is in both English and Spanish.  So much language here. English, Spanish, Creole with a couple different dialects and Mayan also with 2 different dialects.
